Based on DLP technology, the Christie DW7k projects images in a Stationary environment, with technical specs listing 7500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1000 hours for this projector's lamp. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Looking at practical performance, up to 880 cm can be illuminated with 7500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 587 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2007 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie.
