As a projector for the Stationary sector, the Christie DWU670 E is equipped with 5800 ANSI lumens, a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast of 5000:1. According to Christie, the lamp has a durability of 1500 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Lens Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 774 cm can be illuminated with 5800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 516 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
