This projector from Christie utilizes 3D-Laser-DLP technology, achieving 6500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2000:1 at a resolution of SXGA+ 1400 x 1050. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1500 hours before a replacement is necessary. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 702 cm can be illuminated with 6500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 468 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2008 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
