Categorized in the Short Distance segment, the X300G projector from Benq projects with a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution, alongside 2000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 600000:1. Benq lists a runtime of 20000 hours for the LED in this projector, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 138 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 454 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 303 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. Since the projector supports Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2023 and is officially no longer distributed by Benq.
