Designed for the Short Distance sector, the TK705STi model from Benq features 3000 ANSI lumens, a native UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution and a contrast ratio of 6000000:1. Thanks to LED technology, the projector is rated for a lifespan of up to 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 160 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Regarding projection size, the value of 3000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 556 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 371 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. Additionally, thanks to Google TV, the model is network-capable and can be used without external playback devices. The integrated Google Assistant ensures comfortable operation, allowing the projector to be controlled via voice commands. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Since the projector supports Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 26 decibels.
