As a projector for the Homecinema sector, the Benq W2000+ is equipped with 2200 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 15000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3500 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Lens Shift Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 477 cm can be illuminated with 2200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 318 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 29 decibels. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
