Equipped with DLP technology, the Benq W600 offers 2600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. According to Benq, the lamp has a durability of 3000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 518 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 345 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported.

Ive had the projector since 2009 and after I replaced the mirror chip (Ebay 25 euros), it still works perfectly today. There are certainly better projectors now.

Super Beamer
Have owned the projector since 2009 and now had to change the Dlp chip in December 2022 due to pixel errors. Ordered for 30Euro from Aliexpress, replaced and dusted everything off again and now it works as it should.

Unfortunately, after 4 years, there are missing pixels.
Ive had the projector for 9 years.
After 4 years, there were pixel errors that I got repaired at no additional cost thanks to Benqs extended warranty. After 6 years, there was a clicking noise that I was able to repair once. Unfortunately, however, it came back one year later. In terms of price and performance, it was quite good 9 years ago, but now it is of course no longer state of the art. Due to the pixel errors, which occurred very early on in my opinion, I only gave it 3 stars.

approx. 7 years old and a total of approx. 5000 hours.
One single white pixel outside the picture.
Dlp speed sensor was first dusty, cleaned
and on it goes. Image display skin colors not soo top. Insg 700€ for 7 years without power, for 3.3m diagonal certainly not wrong

First good then crap
After 4 years, 230 hours of lamp operation, the DLP chip is probably defective. Only black u, white pixels in the picture. Total loss.
Repair more than 350 €. Not worth it anymore, so better get a quality device.

Fingers off!
After 4 years and 500 hours of lamp operation, 1/4 of the entire picture consists only of black and white pixel errors. Benq does not pass on the manufacturer‘s warranty from Texas Instruments (5 years) to the customer. Device is scrap!

@Sieger.
The aforementioned color settings are, in my opinion, already very rich and different in the preset different modes and also usable - the panel mode alone meant that I didn‘t even need a rental wall. The only thing that makes me want to change to a better model at the moment is the newer HDMI standard 1.4b, which allows a better and more versatile data throughput. Nevertheless, I will keep the device because my son loves to play games on it :-)

Price performance TOP TOP TOP TOP
I‘ve had it for about a year now and think there‘s no better one in the home cinema sector for so little money (€188). I use it more often on long weekends and it runs and runs and runs ... without a hitch ... Definitely not a mistake.

Help!!!!
We bought the benq W600 and are very disappointed with the color reproduction of both photos and DVDs (source notebook, analog connection). The red and green tones are too bright, people look like they have jaundice. Although the "Picture" menu takes you to a pull-down menu in which you could change the color and hue, the submenus are not selectable - is the only option really the time-consuming adjustment via 3D color management, as the dealer would have us believe? Then why are the submenus available and described in the operating instructions?
Who can help us?

Top value for money!
I recently bought the Benq W600 and Im really very pleased. At the price, I was a bit skeptical at first, but when I ran the projector for the first time on sky HD, I was just fascinated. The quality you get for under 600 euros is just terrific. Movies and sports, everything is an event. Bring on the 2010 World Cup.......

Great projector
For the money, the projector is really very, very good.
I usually only watch soccer, but the picture is really great! A real stadium feeling, you really feel like watching. I was a bit skeptical before, but my skepticism quickly disappeared. But I watch everything via HD. The picture is also very good without HD
For the price you get a real home cinema projector.
