Based on DLP technology, the Benq W3000 projects images in a Homecinema environment, with technical specs listing 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted without quality loss. The exact adjustment leeway can be calculated in the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 2000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 454 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 303 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
