Based on DLP technology, the Benq TH685 projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 4000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. Looking at practical performance, up to 601 cm can be illuminated with 3500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 401 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Since entering the market in 2020, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
