The technical data of the Benq MW523 includes 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 13000:1 as well as a WXGA 1280 x 800 display. According to Benq, the included lamp lasts up to 4500 hours, achieving a lifespan of 6.2 years when used for 2 hours a day. Looking at practical performance, up to 556 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 371 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Benq. What a modest device, especially for watching TV, it can‘t replace a TV, you need a real home theater projector.

Banq MW523
The Banq MW-523 is a great projector for home use. If you are able to receive HD and use the full resolution (on a decent screen), you can do without a TV set and sports broadcasts become a pleasure. The MW-523 is highly recommended for the price.
