Known as the MW826STH, this DLP projector by Benq features basic specs of 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 at a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. According to Benq, the included lamp lasts up to 6000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 8.2 years based on two hours of use per day. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 98 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 601 cm can be illuminated with 3500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 401 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance.
