Based on DLP technology, the Benq MW714 ST projects images in a Short Distance environment, with technical specs listing 2600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 4600:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4000 hours before a replacement is necessary, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 100 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 2600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 518 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 345 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Benq.
