The LK970 model from Benq combines DLP technology in the High-End Homecinema sector with 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100000:1 and a native 4KESHIFT 2716 x 1528 resolution. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted without quality loss. The exact adjustment leeway can be calculated in the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 5000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 479 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. This model dates back to 2017 and is no longer part of Benq's current product range.
