As a projector, the Benq LU9750 combines DLP technology with a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200, and is additionally specified with 8500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 3000000:1. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Distance Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 8500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 937 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 625 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. The projector was released in 2022 and is officially no longer distributed by Benq.
