The projector PB8120 by Benq operates as a DLP device with 1800 ANSI lumens, a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution and a contrast of 2000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. A look at the light output reveals: The 1800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 369 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 246 cm. This model dates back to 2003 and is no longer part of Benq's current product range.

Good day from Salzburg.
Have a Benq PB 8120, which is doing a wonderful job for my needs.
Now I have unfortunately lost my remote control.
To what extent can I access all functions without a remote control,
or what would a new remote control cost for this no longer very young
device.
Thank you very much for your answer.
Best regards
Schwaighofer Heinz

Lamp bad, service bad
after 300 hours the picture became increasingly darker, until after 340 hours there was almost nothing to see. I ordered a new lamp from the Benq representative in Vienna 6 (six) months ago after they thought it was the lamp‘s fault. It still hasn‘t arrived to this day
Good thing, I wouldn‘t have paid €271 there like here but €350.
