The Benq MX812ST is a 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP projector that brings 3500 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution alongside a contrast of 4600:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 122 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Regarding projection size, the value of 3500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 343 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
