Based on DLP technology, the Benq MW811ST projects images in a Short Distance environment, with technical specs listing 2600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 4600:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 4000 hours for this projector's lamp. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 100 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 2600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 518 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 345 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Benq.
