The PE8700 model is a DLP projector from Benq, intended for Homecinema applications, offering 1000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at HDTV 1280 x 720. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. Looking at practical performance, up to 321 cm can be illuminated with 1000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 214 cm. Since entering the market in 2003, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

When I put the device into operation, I couldn‘t believe my eyes. I have never seen such a brilliant picture. I‘ve already had several projectors such as the Yamaha DPX 1, Infocus 7210 and even a Runco DR300c for a whopping 30000 euros. But here I can say I‘m sticking with this one. Perfect device
