As a projector, the Benq PU9220 combines DLP technology with a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200, and is additionally specified with 5000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 4000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 1500 hours. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projection Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 5000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 479 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
