This projector from Benq utilizes 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP technology, achieving 2000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 5000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 4500 hours for this projector's lamp – mathematically sufficient for 6.2 years based on two hours of use per day. Regarding projection size, the value of 2000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 454 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 303 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.

Ive had this projector since 2012, so 13 years in use! Ive changed the lamp three times since then and once the internal power supply (the one from the W700 also fits ;-). I use the projector as a full TV replacement and have never regretted this purchase.

I‘ve been very satisfied for about 1.5 years
Have had the projector for about 1.5 years, use it a lot (over 5500 hours in ECO mode), never had any problems with it. I use it as a full-fledged TV replacement. I am very satisfied

Beamer goes Support Katastrophe
The beamer is generally okay, but only as long as the lamp lasts. In my case, the lamp failed after 700 hours and that after 1.5 years. The projector was always in the same place and was operated normally. The guarantee is two years but only one year on the lamp. The projector was then collected by a pick-up service on 29.04 and taken to a Czech workshop. The advice from technical support to only deliver the projector and not the accessories as these would not be returned was strange enough. Now it is June 5th and the projector is still not back from the Czech workshop, there is someone available in the support (located in Holland) but they can‘t reach anyone in the Czech workshop. The whole thing has been going on for 35 days now, "of course" no loaner is provided, why should it be? Number of emails: 20 without any real success, number of calls 15, also not really successful, I wonder how much longer it will take. I bought the projector specifically because of the long lamp life, but apparently that doesn‘t mean anything. For this reason I have to say never again Benq, rather an Epson projector which gives e.g. 36 months lamp guarantee.

False manufacturer‘s information on 3D
I‘m angry. Manufacturer‘s specifications were not correct. No 3D, despite the description!
