This projector is named MX842UST, originates from Benq, and its data sheet shows 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 13000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3500 hours. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 94 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 3000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 318 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Benq.
