The equipment of the Benq MW881UST projector includes 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000:1 with a WXGA 1280 x 800 display. According to Benq, the lamp has a durability of 3500 hours. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 48 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 508 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 339 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Benq.
