Known as the MX850UST, this 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP projector by Benq features basic specs of 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 13000:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3500 hours. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 90 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 2500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 435 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 290 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2011 and is no longer part of Benq's current product range.
