As a projector, the Benq PB7230 combines DLP technology with a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768, and is additionally specified with 2500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 435 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 290 cm. This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of Benq's current product range.

Cannot share the opinion of my predecessor. I have owned this projector for some time now, in short it is a super device, picture reproduction is first class, super sharp and good colors, the black level is also great. What is a little annoying is the slightly too high noise level. Lg

Electricity guzzler and one of the most expensive lamps on the market
This is a real electricity guzzler and every electricity provider will be grateful. As if that wasn‘t enough, the replacement lamp is just as expensive. Only for households that are over the hill and don‘t care about anything else. Not for people who have and must have the idea of saving money.
