Hello, I bought this device cheaply on ebay. Is it actually possible to watch TV with it? Who can tell me?

Eco Mode?
Hello,
Have had the projector since yesterday and am very happy with the picture quality.
I don‘t know if I‘m just being too stupid, but I can‘t find the Eco Mode anywhere. It‘s not even mentioned in the operating instructions. Can anyone tell me how to activate it?

my review about the XD1170D
If the demand for a projector is not so high or, as in my case, only for my old XBox or Pc, the part is enough
Thanks to the native resolution I still have a very good picture at 800*600.
What‘s great:
- Bag included, which also fits all the necessary cables :)
- Lots of cables
- Hardly any weight when carrying
- Menu self-explanatory
- Even in Eco mode still a very bright picture
What‘s not so great:
- no HDMI (but the technology is not yet so advanced that it is worth it)
- no YuV
Bought the projector in January 2007 for 599 euros
Conclusion:
Use the projector relatively much for DVDs and or when playing my old XBOX movies
Because it still makes a difference whether I look at a 50 - 80 inch TV or whether
I have a 2*2 meter picture.
