The basic data of the Acer F8220 includes 8800 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 as well as a contrast of 7500:1. According to Acer, the included lamp lasts up to 2500 hours. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 817 cm can be illuminated with 8800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 545 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2018 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer.
