The X1270 model from Acer combines DLP technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 2700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 5000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 453 cm can be illuminated with 2700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 302 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer.

I‘ve been using the projector for a few years now and am very satisfied. I set it up directly behind the head of the bed, at a distance of 2m the picture is approx. 170 diagonal and is sufficiently sharp for my liking. In any case, it‘s very bright, contrast-pure and natural colors. It is also pleasantly quiet and power consumption is kept within limits. I think the price-performance ratio is top.
