The projector V7850 by Acer utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 2100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000000:1 at a resolution of 4KESHIFT 2716 x 1528. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 4000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment; exact values can be calculated using the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 2100 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 466 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 311 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 29 decibels. The projector was released in 2017 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer.
