Based on DLP technology, the Acer Predator GM712 device delivers 3600 ANSI lumens, a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 and a contrast of 10000:1 as a projector. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 5000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.8 years. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Regarding projection size, the value of 3600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 610 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 407 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. This model dates back to 2021 and is no longer part of Acer's current product range.
