Based on DLP technology, the Acer P1163 device delivers 3000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 and a contrast of 17000:1 as a projector. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 4500 hours, which amounts to roughly 6.2 years at 2 hours of daily use. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 318 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer.
