With the S1286H, Acer offers a 3D-LED-DLP projector that features 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. According to Acer, the included lamp lasts up to 5000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 6.8 years possible. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 124 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 3500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 343 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. The projector was released in 2019 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
