Behind the name P1206 is a 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP projector by Acer, whose main features include 3700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3700:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2500 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 530 cm can be illuminated with 3700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 353 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. This model dates back to 2010 and is no longer part of Acer's current product range.

With very natural colour reproduction and sharp image. The DLP chip is of course the weak point (starburst effect). This can be replaced relatively inexpensively, as can the colour wheel, which is also a wear part. For home use, a relatively bright and good device.
