The projector P5370W by Acer operates as a BrilliantColor-DLP device with 3000 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast of 2000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 3000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 556 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 371 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. This model dates back to 2008 and is no longer part of Acer's current product range.

I bought this device last week. All in all, a top projector for little money. Convincing, very bright picture - ECO mode is completely sufficient....
Almost no rainbow effect...
One minus point is the zoom range which is too small....but doesn‘t bother me any more, then the projector just has to be closer to the screen, because at a distance of 5m the picture is HUGE....
The projector is very quiet...fan noise doesn‘t bother me at all....
I can only recommend this projector.......

super for HTPC
I use it for an HTPC and watch TV, DVDs and BluRays with it.
The picture quality is excellent, especially with HD material, of course.
The power saving mode is absolutely bright enough even with room lighting. This means that the expected lamp life is long and operating costs are correspondingly low. The noise level is so low that it is not disturbing... Rainbows are not a problem despite DLP, even though I am actually very sensitive to them. I control the device via a 12 m HDMI cable, at 15 m I had picture interference, but that‘s not the projector‘s fault. What bothers me is the somewhat spartan format switching and the useless mini-zoom area... I had to hang the projector on the ceiling a good 4 m away from the projection surface, giving me a projection surface almost 2.4 m wide. A bit too much for me... big is not always beautiful
I would have liked a bit more zoom than just 1.1
All in all, a very good device with minimal deductions in the rating

Acer P5370W = universal projector =
I‘ve been using this projector for 6 weeks now in the application balancing act. It was crucial for me to find a projector that delivers relatively good results for both worksheets and movies in relation to the price/performance ratio, and this device offered the best possible combination from my point of view and now fully meets my requirements in practice. For feature films, I use the device in ECO mode with 2400 lumens and a Gain 1.0 screen serves as the projection surface. The contrast and black level are so convincing for me. For presentations in rooms flooded with daylight, the 3000 lumen mode is simply ideal and leaves nothing to be desired. Thoughts about the application balancing act and possible disturbing noise levels are now yesterday‘s topics
Greetings, - Helge
