Designed for the Standard-Portabel sector, the PD527W model from Acer features 3000 ANSI lumens, a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast ratio of 2000:1. According to Acer, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 477 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 318 cm. Since entering the market in 2006, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
