The basic data of the Acer P1186 includes 3400 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 as well as a contrast of 20000:1. According to Acer, the lamp has a durability of 5000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. Regarding projection size, the value of 3400 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 339 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. Since entering the market in 2016, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
