Based on DLP technology, the Acer P1266P device delivers 2700 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 2700:1 as a projector. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 3000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Looking at practical performance, up to 453 cm can be illuminated with 2700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 302 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. This model dates back to 2009 and is no longer part of Acer's current product range.

First-class device for home theater
The Acer is really a top device - perfect for home theater and for gaming on the PC/console (no latency noticeable). It is very pleasantly bright, even in Eco mode at almost 2200 ANSI lumens, and can therefore be easily used in only half-darkened rooms on large projection surfaces - in my opinion, it also has an excellent black level. In Eco mode, it is whisper-quiet and a treat for the ears - you can even sit right next to the device and enjoy the movie. So far it has processed all signal sources via HDMI without complaint and offers an excellent picture in 1080p mode up to 60Hz and 24p - the picture is fully there after just 15 seconds and it cools down super quickly - what more could you want? I would buy it again at any time... :)
