As a projector, the Acer P1166P combines DLP technology with a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600, and is additionally specified with 2700 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2700:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 453 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 302 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
