Behind the name K335 is a BrilliantColor-DLP projector by Acer, whose main features include 1000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The LED unit of this model is rated for up to 20000 hours of runtime. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. A look at the light output reveals: The 1000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 214 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.

In order to set up a children‘s movie theater, I needed a small, durable LED projector that could shine on a matt white furniture panel with a diagonal of 1.8 m :). I‘m very happy with the output from a slightly darkened room.
I control it via PC, which gives me even more options in terms of color adjustment, otherwise the setting options are kept very simple. Unfortunately, RGB is not possible directly (via PC). What you should bear in mind is that it works with rhombic pixels (google), which means that it can only produce blurred text above a certain size. But that doesn‘t matter for movies.
What bothers me are the 2 small fans, which make an audible noise. Yes, you forget about it and get used to it, but I find it unpleasant. Let‘s see if something can be modified here.
General: Handy, bright, and the price-performance ratio is right here.
For comparison:
Have the Benq TH681 in the living room under the ceiling and project onto a frame screen from 3m.
