Known as the PL111, this LED-LCD projector by Acer features basic specs of 1300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 at a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Looking at practical performance, up to 314 cm can be illuminated with 1300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 209 cm. The projector was released in 2004 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.

I‘m also very happy with "the little one". I have it running in my restaurant for sporting events. Last year I replaced the first lamp after about 3000 hours!!! Since then the "Lamp" led unfortunately still lights up red during operation (don‘t know how to reset it), otherwise everything is ok.

A word of praise for the little one!
So let me get one thing out of the way first: I know the projector is old school and doesnt offer anything impressive in terms of optics (picture) these days. I bought the projector in 2002 and in terms of quality of life, it is top notch! Although the lifespan of the lamp is said to be 2000 hours, I can only laugh: it is now 2008 and it still works perfectly! It has not been treated with kid gloves over the years either (various events, lectures, films in heat and cold, as well as indoor and outdoor). I have never had anything like it and thats why I think its time to give it a pat on the back. I bought another projector in between and had to change the lamp after a year (approx. 1200 hours). Hats off!!
