The Acer S1385WHne is a 3D-LED-DLP projector offering 3200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 17000:1 and a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 4000 hours, which amounts to roughly 5.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 98 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 3200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 575 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 383 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
