Based on DLP technology, the Acer H7531D device delivers 2000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 50000:1 as a projector. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2500 hours before a replacement is necessary. A look at the light output reveals: The 2000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 454 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 303 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 30 decibels. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.

I bought the good piece 2 weeks ago and use it with a 240 x 180 screen and gain lvl 2
with a 4k2k hdmi cable with extended color space support on a ps3
to the picture I have to say it is razor sharp and absolutely briliant in the colors
to my old beamer this picture is an absolute madness even with corresponding pixel test images no interpolation recognizable
what is noticeable is that if you run via laptop and vga 1080 p the picture streaks with fast scenes a kind of jerking.
which is not the case with the hdmi cable
the contrast is great everything is razor sharp
volume in eco mode (because I don‘t like the colors in normal mode) very low
all in all I have to say acer has done a great job because the others can take a leaf out of their book with such pictures :-)
I am convinced
a note on the subject of rainbow my girlfriend and I can only recognize it if you deliberately cause it with your eye very very fast back and forth look

Color saturation
Acer H7531 D supports 1080p and 1080p24, but according to the operating instructions, the color saturation and hue are not supported in HDMI/PC mode, but they are in my case. 1080p is not supported in the player setting, 1080p24 is supported in the setting.
I hope to make the purchase decision a little easier for one or the other

My opinion about Acer H7531H
The Acer is now my third projector in six years, before that it was the Toshiba S20 and Optoma EP728 HD Ready.
Acer H7531D briefly described: Full HD with 2000/1600 ansilum, 50,000:1 contrast, lamp life 2500-4000 hours
I have to say that the design is a real eye-catcher!!! The picture it delivers is good, black level is ok, in eco mode 1600ansi. is enough even if I turn on the overhead light in the room. The light emitted by the projector is negligible when I mount it on the ceiling. It is very quiet in eco mode and even in normal mode it is still quieter than my old Optoma in eco mode. I have hardly noticed any rainbow effect so far, some presets for the picture are usable, but it can be adjusted well and easily with the color settings in the menu until you are satisfied. If there‘s one annoying thing, it‘s the Acer‘s menu, it‘s very large in the picture, so it‘s a bit tedious to adjust the picture as you can only see a little of the actual picture at that moment. The DynamicBlack is clearly audible at room volume (rattling in the projector, unfortunately that‘s how it should be, servomotor in the lens) and doesn‘t really do anything, I simply switched off the DynamicBlack...you can live with it... Colorboost is ok for those who like strong but not exaggerated colors
Have a 4:3 screen 240cm wide and the Acer doesn‘t really do 4:3 well, there are narrow black edges at the top and bottom about 5cm (not 20cm so no 16:9) no matter what setting the player is set to and it lights up the 16:9 format slightly on the left and right even though 4:3 is set....unsightly !
Who sees in 16:9 format gets a flawless picture, however.
To stay with the picture, it is already a big positive difference to the Optoma EP 728 HD Ready,
powerful, sharp, and fast without jerks or anything else.
The previous Acer H7530D is said to have problems with the only HDMI port it has, this no longer seems to exist with the two new HDMI ports of the H7531D, I have a 10m HDMI cable on it and no problems with the players, the picture is also correspondingly good via cinch video. The remote control looks a bit cheap but does its job. A new bulb currently costs around €150, which I think is quite reasonable. I bought it for 849,-€ on the I-net and am generally satisfied with the Acer.
I hope I was able to make the decision to buy or not to buy a little easier for one or the other, as there are currently no tests or reviews as I had to find out myself before my purchase. Mfg. Mats...
