Equipped with DLP technology, the Acer PD523PD offers 2400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 2400 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 427 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 285 cm. The projector was released in 2006 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer.
