Designed for the High-End Homecinema sector, the VPL VW675ES model from Sony features 1800 ANSI lumens, a native UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160 resolution and a contrast ratio of 350000:1. According to Sony, the lamp has a durability of 6000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 8.2 years possible. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to perfectly align the image even with off-center installations – exact dimensions are provided by the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 1800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 214 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 26 decibels. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
