Behind the name VPL CS1 is a LCD projector by Sony, whose main features include 600 ANSI lumens and a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600. According to Sony, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 213 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 142 cm. This model dates back to 1999 and is no longer part of Sony's current product range.
SVGA 800 x 600
480.000 Pixel
SXGA 1280 x 1024 compressed
Video Modes
NTSC, PAL, SECAM Pal 60 NTSC 4,43
Application
Standard-Portabel | External training and company presentations, as well as product presentations. Small screen width, rooms with very little ambient light below 50 lumens.
Picture is satisfactory for this old model, after 500 hours a slight green tint can be noticed in the picture, fan a little loud, should be placed a little further away from the seat. Disadvantage: no ceiling mounting possible. The device should be positioned at the height of the underside of the screen, as it projects very strongly upwards, and if it is positioned in the middle, it no longer manages the keystone correction so that it projects straight.

Portable projector
Okay, since I found the projector on the scrap heap, I can‘t say anything about the price, but it still works perfectly.
+Lid closes the lens
+Mouse control via remote control
+Not too loud
+Clear picture
+Handle is okay
-Picture gets too blue over time, can‘t be adjusted to a redder color. You sometimes have to readjust on the PC to see red at all over time
-lamp incredibly expensive. (If you buy it in England, you get it about 50 euros cheaper, but still pretty steep.)
-Speakers pointless
-no S-Video cable included
All in all a good projector. the manual is okay, the accessories eigeintlich also. (Replacement feet are also included). It just takes some time to adjust the picture correctly.
