As a projector, the Sony VPL CS3 combines LCD technology with 650 ANSI lumens and a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600. According to Sony, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 222 cm can be illuminated with 650 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 148 cm. Since entering the market in 2001, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

Standard-Portabel | External training and company presentations, as well as product presentations. Small screen width, rooms with very little ambient light below 50 lumens.
Of course it works, I just have to rotate the image in the computer. Everything can be found in the settings (in the computer, here Mac)

Good small bright picture, but loud like a FÖN
Works well for presentations even in bright surroundings.
The picture can‘t be enlarged very much.
But the volume is very high.

Experiences
I find the projector a little too loud and the claim that it can be mounted on the ceiling is not true. You can‘t turn the picture upside down and a keystone correction can only be made towards the top (standing on the table)
The menu is clear and the projector displayed everything it had to so far... (Mac, PC, video)
