Known as the VPL SW536, this LCD projector by Sony features basic specs of 3100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 at a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 3000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Projector Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 3100 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 566 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 377 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
