With the VPL-EX430, Sony offers a LCD projector that features 3200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4000 hours before a replacement is necessary. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 5.5 years. A look at the light output reveals: The 3200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 493 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 329 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2017 and is no longer part of Sony's current product range.
