Affordable alternative projector

This projector is ideally suited for rooms where the projector size does not matter. Adjusting the picture with the internal potentiometers is admittedly quite a fiddly job, but once it‘s right, the picture is unbeatable. Excellent contrast and good brightness. In a slightly darkened room, the picture looks almost exactly (contrast & brightness) like on a tube TV only with a 3.50 screen diagonal! Only the slight blurring is noticeable on closer inspection. Unfortunately, I can only control the projector on the PC via S-Video and not via RGB... Unfortunately it doesn‘t work via VGA because my graphics card can‘t output a 15kHz signal (VGA -> BNC adapter) but still CRT!!!!

Values of the series resistors for ;90

Hello ral-fi,

I also bought a VPH 1042... In a small room 3.30 m diagonal!!!

Supi. Would like to switch to continuous operation (computer / DVD / TV)...

The fans are unfortunately too loud!!!

Could you tell me the values for the resistors to calm the fans?

Great device

Have had the device for 3 years...the fans have been calmed down a bit with various large series resistors and since then it has been a lot of fun for relatively little money...every day, because it replaces any TV in my house...I can only recommend it!!!

Favorable and good

Can only say that I am simply happy with this model. I bought one 2 years ago with 300 hours mileage for 900â‚¬.

Makes a great picture on a 2m wide screen and is super quiet. Previously had an Acer PL 111, good picture but very, very loud. CRT again and again
