Known as the Qualia 004-R1, this Laser-SXRD projector by Sony features basic specs of 1600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1500 hours. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Looking at practical performance, up to 406 cm can be illuminated with 1600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 271 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 24 decibels.
