The projector VPL SX125 by Sony operates as a 3D-Laser-LCD device with 2600 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 3800:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3000 hours. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 124 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 2600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 444 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 296 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2011 and is no longer part of Sony's current product range.
